Welcome to Australian Alpine Club Anton. Anton Huette is a not-for-profit private ski lodge located on Mt Hotham within walking distance of the main village, situated just off the Great Alpine Highway it provides easy drive-in, drive-out access to the lodge. Our lodge facilities are of a particularly high standard including a newly renovated bedroom wing, wireless internet, spa and sauna, ski room and comfortable living area with open fire place.
Dinner Plain is a small town with a unique architectural style sympathetic with the Victorian alpine environment. It is 11 km east of Mt Hotham along a flat sealed road and 11 km west of Mt Hotham airport. There are cross country ski trails trails including a link to the Mt Hotham trails. A regular bus service in winter to and from Mt Hotham and the airport.
The major challenge of renovating the lodge and securing a new lease has been met. The committee has turned its attention to considering how to improve the amenities that members want while continuing to be financially secure. Lots of ideas have been thrown around, for improvements and cost containment. There are no plans to change the operation of the club in any way at present. The survey will close on April 30.
